Dogs, cats, ferrets, insects, lizards, fish, and birds are all receptive to Reiki energy medicine.  Energy levels typically increase dramatically after just after one treatment.  Tumors and cysts have completely disappeared a week later with no scarring.  Behavioral problems improve.  Reiki facilitates healing even when the illness is unknown, with no diagnosis necessary.  In addition, Reiki treatments can reveal underlying conditions threatening your pet's health unbenownst to you, allowing you to get proper treatment for him or her before the condition becomes serious.  

 

     When pets have painful, advanced conditions compromising the quality of their life and the decision has been made to go to a veterinary clinic to end their suffering, Reiki can ease their transition from life.  Reiki energy gently surrounds and fills your pet with love and peace as he or she goes to sleep.  You may be a full participant in this moment, with no training required.  It is an incredibly beautiful and powerful way to share your love with your pet as they depart.  

     You can also learn to do Reiki so that you can give energy treatments to your pet.  An attunement opens you to being able to share Reiki to heal plants, animals, and people. 

       Clients typically offer $30-$50 for an animal or pet Reiki session.  It is best to perform pet treatments at your home, where your pet feels the most comfortable and safe.  If you prefer, you are welcome to bring your pet to Chiyu Center.  Before beginning treatment, the practitioner will spend several minutes getting to know your pet and making sure he or she feels comfortable with me.  After heaing begins, the session lasts until optimal healing is reached, approximately 30-40 minutes.  The entire experience requires approximately one hour.
